The Pleasant Hearth Wood Burning Stove can heat rooms of 1,800 sq. ft. with up to 65,000 BTUs of heat. This traditional-style stove uses seasoned cord wood for fuel and features a large ceramic glass window that provides an unimpeded view of the flames and creates a rustic, cozy atmosphere.
This non-catalytic stove is EPA certified and features a brick-lined firebox, chrome handles, and air wash system which helps to maintain a clean glass window is perfect for easy home use.
Easy to Operate
The Pleasant Hearth WSL-1800 wood-burning stove is designed to burn natural wood, seasoned hardwood being the most efficient and clean-burning. Using your stove is similar to an open fireplace, but is much more efficient and provides better heating.

Standing Legs
This stove includes four legs which should be attached using the provided bolts prior to installing it. The legs feature levelers on the bottom to assist in leveling the stove during installation.
Installation Options
Installation of the Pleasant Hearth wood-burning stove requires a 6-inch diameter chimney that is UL-listed for high temperature use. It can be installed through an outside wall or using a pre-existing masonry chimney. Inspection of a masonry chimney should be done to ensure good general condition prior to installation.
If the stove is installed with the pipe through the wall, a non-combustible floor protector which extends underneath and to the sides, back and front of the stove should be used.
Note: This stove is not approved for Mobile Home use.
Additional Features
- Removable Ash Pan: The ash pan is located in the bottom of the stove, easily accessible using the ash lip in the front.
- Airwash System: Designed to reduce deposits on the in-door viewing glass. Glass can be cleaned as needed using normal class cleaners.
- High-Quality Paint: This stove is finished with highest quality stove paint with special break-in procedures which are outlined in the owner’s manual.
- Slide Damper: Use this to control the burn rate of the wood and establish a heating level for the room.
- Minimum Clearances: From Back Wall – 19 in.; from Side Wall – 25 in.; from Corner – 16 in.; from Floor to Ceiling – 96 in.
