Perfect for moderate-sized homes or condos, the freestanding US Stove Small Pellet Stove blends energy efficiency and high-end features. This non-catalytic, standalone pellet stove is capable of heating areas up to 1,800 square feet with 34,000 BTUs of supplemental heat simply by burning wood pellets. The US Stove 5040 features a 40-pound hopper and has an automatic igniter.
A digital control board has 4 heat settings and other automatic options that make using this pellet stove easier than many comparable models. Its sleek lines and refined features make it an easy choice for any home.
Convenient Heating Options
The digital control panel puts all of the heating options at your fingertips. You can turn the stove on and off, change how quickly the pellets feed into the burn pot area, and determine how fast the fan sends heat throughout your space.
A fuel feed switch can be pressed and held for a few seconds to begin feeding wood pellets into the burn pot. Multiple speeds give you control over how quickly heat enters your home. They range from 1 (lowest) to 4 (highest), and this setting will determine how quickly pellets enter the burn pot area. Burn the pellets for up to 40 hours using the lowest burn setting.
The room air fan speed varies directly with the pellet feed rate; if you choose a high feed rate, then the blower will increase in speed. The only exception to this is a button on the control panel labeled “High Fan.” When this button is selected, the blower speed will be set to high regardless of the feed rate setting.
Optional Thermostat
A thermostat can be added to this model to help maintain a constant house temperature. A millivolt thermometer (not included) is required and can easily be connected to the US Stove 5040 Stove.
